Andrew Wu Kong Fung, born in 2007 in Hong Kong, is a classical vocalist and flautist. He received his early musical training at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) Junior Music School, where he notably won the Champion title in a vocal solo at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival.

Academically, Andrew excelled in his International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), producing an Extended Essay that explored Mozart’s application of operatic techniques in his concertos. He also starred as 'James' in the musical "Lost and Found," which premiered at the Xiqu Center Grand Theatre in 2023.

In addition to his vocal and instrumental talents, Andrew is a student conductor, leading both his college’s Mixed Choir and Orchestra. He is deeply involved in community service, having taught music in Cambodia and initiated campaigns for children with special educational needs. He is also the founder and artistic director of "Cityscapes of Central" — a multimedia project that combines music with videography to highlight the cultural diversity of Hong Kong. Moreover, the project features a youth chamber orchestra consisting of 26 members.

Andrew has been honored with several awards at both the London Youth Music Competition and the Hong Kong Music Festival. His recent acceptance into the HKAPA junior program under the mentorship of esteemed baritone Mr. Albert Lim marks a significant step in his burgeoning career.

As a Hong Kong Arts Ambassador, Andrew is dedicated to enhancing the visibility and appeal of classical music throughout the region, with a particular focus on accessibility and engagement.
